The Golden Ratio

In this study of sunflowers, the patterns of seeds follow the Fibonacci sequence, or 1,2,3,5,8,13,21,34,55,89,144...the spirals in the center generate from this with two sets of curves winding in opposite directions stretching out to the petals. The golden ratio is everywhere in nature, pinecones, tree branches, plant leaves, flower petals and the human body. Not only are these flowers pure happiness and a gift of creation, but they are also a mathematical marvel! (2025)
